Next month my daughter turns 4… ah the joys of having a 4 year old and a two year old are hard to explain, really. She has been talking for months now about how she is going to have a birrthday party with all of her friends at the “banana place”. The banana place is an indoor themepark sort of, I think it might best be desribed as Chuck’e’ Cheese on steriods.
Now we never told her that she could have a party there or that we were going to have a party for all her firends at all. She went there last year for a freinds birthday party and has not stopped talking about it. Naturally as soon as her birthday came up last month that was the first thing she started talking about.
Anyway, we gave in, we did not tell her but we did set up a bananas party for her and 10 other 4 year olds. That is going to be one stressfull party for my wife and I. At least it is not a drop your kids off party. The parents are each going to stay and be responsible for there own. It least that is my impression or so I hope. Wish me luck…
